I finally redecorated my blog for Christmas. (About time, right?) For future reference here's the header...
Art work by Sandra Kuck. An artist I recently discovered I like very much indeed. Her paintings are adorable. |
I had a rather difficult time picking out a background this time, but here's what I finally decided on.
What do you think of it?
Can you believe it's less than two weeks till Christmas already?
Tell me one of your favorite Christmas traditions.
(Wow. I'm sounding rather bossy today, aren't I?)

The new design is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteMostly our traditions consist of waiting till the day after Thanksgiving to listen to Christmas music, proceeding to listen to it every day after very loudly, cutting down a fresh tree the day after Thanksgiving, doing all our shopping at the last possible moment, that sort of thing.
Merry Christmas, dear!
Thanks, Kate! :)
DeleteDoing all your shopping at the last possible minute? Haha. Sounds like fun! ;)
Merry Christmas to you, too!!
Crazy but fun. :)
DeleteCrazy, yes. What's the season without a little craziness, right? ;)
DeleteThat's certainly my persuasion! ;)
DeleteHaha. :)
DeleteThis is gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you manage to come up with headers so cute and perfect every time?
Thank you, Rose! I'm glad you like it. :)
DeleteAnd oh, I don't know. Maybe it comes from spending way too much time on it? Haha. ;)
Cuuuute! I AM SO READY FOR CHRISTMAS. :-)
ReplyDeleteME, TOO! :)
DeleteSo pretty! One of my family's favorite traditions is going to our local Christmas tree farm and getting a tree. Although this year we couldn't go do to a local drought. They closed the Christmas tree farm it's so sad! We still got a live tree though!!!!
ReplyDeleteAw, picking a tree out together as a family sounds like a perfectly festive way to start off the season. I love it! :) But oh, that's a shame about the Christmas tree farm. Will they ever reopen, do you think?
DeleteYes! They to reopen next year.
DeleteOh, that's great. I thought maybe they were closing for good, and that would have been really sad. :(
DeleteAaaaaand I nominated you for the Sunshine Blogger Award! Knowing you - and your lovely blog - you've probaby been nominated for this award a million times, so I understand if you want to pass. Just thought I'd let you know!
ReplyDeleteActually, I've never been nominated for this particular award, so thanks, Kate! I confess I'm rather behind on tags at the moment, so I can't say for sure if I'll find time for it. But I'll definitely check it out. :)
DeleteREALLY??? I don't believe it! Your blog is just so... sunshiney.
DeleteOf course! I hate tagging people because I'm always a little afraid that they will feel obligated - so please don't! Just know that I thought of you! :)
Haha. Well, thank you! :)
DeleteOh, no worries. You're not making me feel pressured at all. It's an honor to be tagged, and I always enjoy it, even if I don't have time to actually fill the tag out. So thank you again! :)
Oh, it's so cute! :) I love the painting!!!
ReplyDelete~Miss Meg
I know! Isn't the painting adorable?!
DeleteEek, this is ADORABLE! I love it, Miss March. :)
ReplyDeleteI can believe it, although I don't want the two weeks to go too quickly!
Watching "It's a Wonderful Life" every Christmas Eve. :)
Ps. I'm sending out your card today....:)
Thank you, Natalie!!
DeleteYes, I know. It would be nice to be able to savor it a little bit, right?
Oh, I'd forgotten that was your tradition, too! Maybe we will both be watching "It's a Wonderful Life" on Christmas Eve. :)
Eeeeeeek!! Really? I'm so excited to get it!! :D
Yes, exactly. :)
DeleteHeehee! Maybe we will!
:D
I LOVE it Miss March!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel! :)
DeleteI ADORE IT!!!! Marvellous job.
ReplyDeleteI CAN believe it...but that's crazy.
Christmas traditions...we go caroling every year!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I hope the season is wonderful for you so far.
Thanks, Rae!
DeleteI know, right? It comes up so fast.
Aw, that is an awesome tradition! Do people give you cookies after you sing to them? I just remember getting cookies from people years ago when I went caroling as a kid. (Best part of the evening for me, most likely. That's why I still remember it. ;))
Merry Christmas to you, too, Rae!! :D
No, we gave cookies to the people we sang to. :) Homemade gingersnaps this year.
ReplyDeleteAw, that's really neat. And gingersnaps are delicious. :)
DeleteIt's like a Christmas tartan and I love it! And the header too. Splendid job! Hmm let's see; one of my favorite Christmas traditions is finding the hidden pickle ornament on the Christmas tree! :P
ReplyDeleteThanks, Abby! :)
DeleteFinding the hidden pickle ornament on the Christmas tree? Eeek. What a fun tradition! I love it. :)
