Cordy's Would You Rather Fictional Grab-bag Edition!

Hello everyone!  Cordy has made another one of her "Would You Rather" games and I'm here to play it!

Do check out Cordy's blog and her answers to the game here!  And then join in the fun and play the game for yourself!  Anyone and everyone is welcome!

All right!  Here we go...

I'm ready to play!

Would you rather, be a tenant of Mr. Darcy or Mr. Knightley?
Oh wow.  Thanks for starting us off so easy, Cordy!  Honestly, I don't know!  Either one would make a great landlord!  How's a person to choose?

Okay.  Mr. Darcy.  And no, I don't have a particular reason for choosing him.   I'm still in the act of the Bertie Wooster shrug and totally at a loss here so how can I be expected to come up with reasons?

Would you rather spend a day in the 100 Acre Wood or Neverland?
The 100 Acre Wood!  Definitely!  It feels cozier and more friendly to me than Neverland.

Would you rather attend a tea party with the Mad Hatter and company or meet the Wizard of Oz?
I'll take the Mad Hatter and company.  As far as I can remember the Wizard of Oz wasn't all that interesting.

Would you rather spend a summer at Netherfield with Jane and Mr. Bingley, or at Hamley Hall with Squire Hamley?
Oh my word!!  This is an easy one!  Jane and Mr. Bingley!  Absolutely, positively, that is my final answer!  Squire Hamley's okay and all, but he doesn't strike me as the sort of person that would be very fun to spend a large amount of time with.  Spending a summer with Jane and Mr. Bingley however would be quite nice I think.  They're both so sweet and Mr. Bingley is so cheerful I'm sure we would have a lot of laughs and good times together.

Would you rather be "rescued" by Gilbert Blythe or Colonel Brandon?
Gilbert Blythe.  I'm afraid I'm still not a huge fan of the Colonel.  I just don't fancy being rescued by a man who will then ask me in a monotone "Is there any other way in which I may serve you?" as if he means to be the most caring man in the world but all the time you can see he's thinking about how sad, sad, sad, his life is and what a horrible, miserable, time he's had of it, and would someone please extend pity towards him?  Please?  (I'm sorry.  That's really cruel of me to say about the Colonel.  And I know I'm exaggerating.  But that's just sort of the feeling I get from him, particularly in the 1995 movie.)

Would you rather marry Laurie or John Brooke?
John Brooke.  He's steadier and more the husbandy type.  Or maybe I should just say he's more my type of a husband.  I like Laurie a whole lot, too, of course, but I can more easily imagine being married to John Brooke and living in a small home rather than being married to Laurie and all his wealth.

Would you rather have to participate in a skirmish as a member of Robin Hood's Merry Men, or as a member of the Musketeers?
I'd prefer to be with Robin Hood's Merry Men.  They strike me as a bit more fun.  I might skip the skirmish though, if that's okay.  Skirmishes aren't so much my thing.  I's a peace loving person.  (And besides, I's scared.)

Would you rather have a jolly holiday in a chalk painting or enjoy a tea party on the ceiling with Uncle Albert?
Ooh!  I think I'll do the tea party on the ceiling.  It would be fun to be able to float up in the air.  And spending time with Uncle Albert would be highly entertaining.

Would you rather have to chaperone, through their entire courting experience, Lydia Bennet or Anne De Bourgh?
Goodness me!  I don't wish to chaperone either of them!  Lydia is just trouble, and Anne De Bourgh is just...I don't know...weird?  But I suppose if I must choose one I'll choose Anne De Bourgh.  Anyway, she would most likely just there sit silently all afternoon, so that would give me ample time to read or think or do whatever I wanted to do.

Would you rather marry Mr. Wickham or Mr. Elton?
CORDY!  This is cruelty!  I refuse to answer this question.  Under no circumstances whatsoever would I marry either of them!  And I have nothing further to say on the subject.

Humph.  So there.

Would you rather spend the rest of your life in Middle Earth (starting from the time of the journey of the ring), or Narnia (starting from the time of the Pevensie's first visit)?
Probably Narnia.  Once the White Witch is taken care of and the Pevensie children become kings and queens it seems like it would be a very pleasant and peaceful place to live.
(ButreallyI'drathernotliveineitheroftheseplacesandI'mhavingabitofacrisisnowjustthinkingofitsoI'mgoingtostopbye!)

Well, that's it!  Thanks for the game, Cordy!
Toodle loo, my friends!
