Memory Nest

(Picture found on Pinterest)

Emma has 'pecked' me for the Memory Nest tag.  If you'd like a few more details on it, please see her post.

The Rules:

1. thank the person who 'pecked' you.  (Thank you, Emma!)
2. list five things that start with "when I grow up and have my own house..." (they can be true, or utterly ridiculous, whatever you feel like writing :-))
3. 'peck' one other person and let them know that you have done so.

1.  When I grow up and have my own house...I'm going to stop eating so much sugar because I just know that having my own house is going to magically give me the discipline which I now lack.  (And until that happy time comes, I'll enjoy my cookie--because I deserve it for making such a noble resolution.)

2.  When I grow up and have my own house...I'm going to have lots and lots of children.  And I'm going to handle all the chaos with grace and ease...and even ENJOY it!  I can see myself now: pulling a pan of well-baked bread out of the oven, while balancing my one-year-old girl on my hip, and calling to my little son to "wait a moment!  Mommy will be right there."  Oh! such bliss!  No, I'm serious! I like the feeling of being a busy, bustling housewife, with so many things to do

3.  When I grow up and have my own house...everything will be in spotless order, because I can't stand a messy house.  My children won't have trouble picking up after themselves because they will only have one toy a piece.  It's simpler that way.   (Just kidding.  I'm not that cruel.)

4.  When I grow up and have my own house...I will get enormous amounts of writing and housework down all in the space of time designated for my children's afternoon naps.  (Don't ask me how.)

5. When I grow up and have my own house...I'll probably faint from exhaustion.

I peck...Natalie.

  3. Haha, I loved your answers, Miss March! You are very witty, did you know that? :-)

The thing about one toy apiece made me laugh. "Just kidding - I'm not that cruel." That WOULD make things easier, though! I like the feeling of a busy housewife too -- when I have so many things to do, it makes me all the more motivated to get them all done.

    1. Aww. Thanks. :)

Isn't that true, though? It's funny how motivated you can be when you have a LOAD of things to do, and then when you only have a few things it's suddenly too much work! ;) haha!

Thanks again for tagging me, Emma. I enjoyed it!

  4. I loved your answers!! Like Emma said, you're so witty! I love your sarcasm - sarcasm is the best kind of witty, you know. :-D

Wow, you really seem to be made to be a mother! I want to be a mother too, some day (Lord Willing), but at the moment I can't think of being in charge of a large bustly household, haha. :-D HAHA. TO NUMBER 4. That's my plan too. :-D

Oh, well, I don't know how well I would REALLY do at taking care of a bustling household--time will tell, I guess--but, you know, anything's possible in one's imagination! ;) (And yes, someday we are going to get lots and lots of writing done...someday...)

    1. Hello, Rosie McCann (Do you go by your full name, or just Rosie?)! Welcome! I've seen you around the blogging world and I was very excited to find your comment on my dashboard! It's always fun when someone new comments!

Thanks for your vote of approval on the color of my blog...and the title! :) That makes me so happy that you like it! I've actually attempted to change the color and header a couple of times...just for something different, you know...but I can never quite bring myself to do it. (I love pink and green together!)

Oh, I know. Isn't it so funny how our imaginations work? In our mind's eye, being a mother seems so simple...but then we have to admit that thinking about it, and actually doing it are two very different things! Haha. :D

Thank you so much for your comment! It was awfully nice to meet you!

  9. Rosie is just fine :) That isn't my real name, by the way - it's just the name of a girl in a song that I like called "The Star Of The County Down."

' . . . young Rosie McCann/ from the banks of the Bann/ she's the star of the County Down.'

Do you know that song? If you've never heard it, maybe you'd like to listen to the Celtic Thunder version of it. It's really cool. By the way, Celtic Thunder are my favorite band :)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Jae_vPZAjI&index=4&list=PLLrHCf8iYn2FaeMBTfZLjBsmIzY6ovrX4

Yes, pink and green go BEAUTIFULLY together, and the funny thing is, *glances round*, most people don't really like them together. Which is weird to me.

Yeah, my imagination is just crazy . . . probably because I am a writer. Do you write stories at all? Right now I'm working on a fairy story. *gasps* Oh I just told. Whatever. It's amazing :D

It was splendid meeting you too :) :) :)

    1. No. Actually, I never heard of that song before. (Thanks for the link. I just listened to it and I must say, it's a very toe-tapping song.) Celtic music is really cool.

People don't like pink and green together? Really, that is very strange! Haha! :)

You're a writer, too? Oh, that's fabulous! I love to write. Well...I sort of write stories and I sort of don't. What I mean is, I THINK about writing stories, A LOT. I have dozens of ideas in my head, and dozens of scribbled notes and snippets, but I've never actually written a complete story. I hope to some day, but yeah, that hasn't happened yet.

You're writing a fairy story? That's so neat! Is it all about fairies or does it have real people in it as well? I've never tried my hand at fantasy. Is this is the first story you've written, or do you have others?

      Thanks, Rosie! :)

      ~Miss March

      Delete
    2. Yes, Celtic music is really cool. I listen to waaaay to much of it. It helps me get through my school work, writing, and so on. What sort of music do you like?

Haha :) I think I'm picky when it comes to color so I notice when people don't like combinations that I love.

Yes, I'm a writer. Oh I know what you mean!! I have thousands of story snippets and ideas in my head, and I have several incomplete stories, but I've never finished one. I'm hoping that this fairy story will be the one to finish itself (I mean, I'll finish it :)) and then I will feel able to tackle the others :D

It's got real people in it. The fairies are only about, um, half the plot. That's all I can really say now :P But it's a lot of fun. It's not the first story I have "dreamed up" but it is the, uh, perhaps the second, that looks like getting finished.

It's so fun to talk to you! :)

P.S. If you've seen me on other blogs, you probably know that "jessica prescott" is my sister. Which is a lot of fun. Especially when we're on two different computers and we both publish a comment at the same time without knowing it, and then we're like, "Hey! We just said basically the same thing!" :)

      Delete
    3. Hmmm...that's actually a really hard question for me. I'm very bad at pin-pointing exactly what type of music I like, because half the time I'm not exactly sure what it is I'm listening to. Haha. I like certain kinds of music from the 40's, country/folk style music, big band jazz, and certain Christian artists from the 70's and 80's. I guess you could say I like a mish-mash. :)

Here's a song from one of my favorite Christian artists, which may give you an idea of at least one type of music I like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpORD1XGIfY

Oh, I hope you do finish this story. That would be wonderful! And I'm sure it would help a lot in giving you confidence for future stories. I'm really picky with my writing, so I tend to edit as I go along and that makes things move rather slowly. At this point I can't imagine ever being satisfied enough to say that my story is actually FINISHED, but I like to dream about having a complete work someday. :) Do you edit as you go, or after the main writing is done?

You can't tell me any more than that? Oh, Rosie. :( It's okay, though. I understand. An author mustn't give away too much, or where's the surprise for her readers? I guess I'll just have to wait. :)

Aww. Thanks. It's fun to talk to you, too! Thank you so much for starting the conversation! :)

That's right! I knew Jessica Prescott had a sister, but I forgot it was you. That's so cool! And haha, that's so funny about you two saying basically the same thing in your comments! That reminds me of me and my sister who's just above me in age. We're always saying things at the same time, or just before the other one has a chance to say it, and stuff like that. I love having sisters! Is Jessica older or younger than you? I have three older sisters and three younger sisters. ...And nine brothers. We're rather a large crew, you might say. ;) How many siblings do you have?

      ~Miss March

P.S. I'm sorry. This was an extremely long comment. I'm afraid I get rather long-winded sometimes. :/

    4. That was a wonderful song! No wonder he's one of your favorite singers :) I may have to listen to more of him. And don't worry, I really like a wide range of music . . . I was just naming my FAVORITE band, to kind of get things going, don't you know :P

Thanks! I hope so too, although it is harder to find time to write during the school year *sighs*.

I edit as I work too. It slows me down a lot but I just can't help it :) Have you ever had the thing happen where you write a chapter, are quite pleased with it, then read it the next day and scream in horror? That happens to me a lot (okay, I don't actually scream) and is rather hard on my confidence as a writer :( My sister says that happens to everyone who writes.

Yeah, well you know how it is :P This story is in its fairly early stages and I don't want to say too much for fear that I will just stop working on it -- as in "oh it wasn't a good idea after all." I know that sounds weird but that's how I am :)

:) Yup. She's my sister. She is my oldest sister. Oh yeah, we do that a lot! She says something, and I go, "Hey! I was just about to say that! How did you know?" It's hilarious sometimes . . . :D

So I have one older sister ("jessica") and two younger sisters -- and four brothers. There are eight of us all together . . . Wow! You have fifteen siblings?! Did I get that right? OH THAT IS SO COOL!! I love large families! And I always flattered myself that MINE was rather large :P

P.S. Don't worry, I LOVE long comments! If you look, you'll see that mine can't exactly be called short either ;)

      Delete
    5. Isn't it, though? I'm so glad you liked it! :) And yes, I totally know what you mean about liking a wide range of music, but just mentioning your FAVORITE in order to get things going. That makes a lot of sense! ;)

Ah, yes. School. Unfortunately it's not only school that makes you busy...I've been done with my schooling for years, and I still have a hard time getting around to things. :P (I probably don't use my time as well as I should.)

Have I ever had that happen?!!! Oh my yes! Except, I never actually write a whole chapter. But I do have times when I write a nice scene and think it sounds just right and then I come to it later and think "What? That's awful!" I think your sister is quite right. I'm sure it happens to all writers. (Thankfully, I also have those nice moments when I read over something and think it sounds bad, and then come back to it weeks later and realize it's actually quite good. That's always nice.) I'm glad you edit as you go. People always say you shouldn't do that, but honestly I don't think I could do it any other way. It's nice to find someone else who feels the same. :)

No, that doesn't sound weird at all! In fact, I think that's exactly how I would feel if I were working on a story. I don't like to show my unfinished work to people because I know it isn't perfect yet and I don't want them to get the idea that this is how the story is supposed to be...when I KNOW I still have a lot of work to do on it. (Does that make sense?)

Yep, that's right. I am the fifth oldest of sixteen kids. Twelve biological and four adopted. I used to be the baby girl until we adopted my three younger sisters. :) I love big families, too! It's so wonderful! You have all these friendships right in your own home!

Eight is a wonderful sized family! And four boys and four girls! How cool is that? When we had eight kids it was four boys and four girls, too. :) Then my ninth sibling came along and put the boys in the lead, and since then we've never been able to catch up with them. Heehee.

      ~Miss March

P.S. Haha! You're right. I guess we both write long comments! :)

    6. Mmm hmm. Speaking of "just mentioning", have you heard the song Love is Waiting by Brooke Fraser? It is so lovely and beautiful and . . . here. Just listen to it, if you don't know it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7T-tX2hhDQ

Oh, you're done with school and it still happens? Oh well, then, I must just resign myself to my fate :P

YAY! IT'S NOT JUST ME!! Oh yes, I have had that happen, where you think it's bad at first, and then change your mind . . . But more often than not, it's the other way around :( I've decided to just not read my earlier stuff until it has "ripened" and not fresh in my mind. Because if I look at it too soon, I invariably think it's horrible and get discouraged about pressing on.

My sister also edits as she goes . . . either it runs in the family, or it's just something sensible people do, or it's a style - or all authors are secretly doing it. No, I was just kidding there. But it IS good to find someone who says it's okay to do! :D

Of course that makes sense! That's exactly how I feel. If it's not perfect, I don't want to show anyone. (Except my sister because she helps me a lot with my writing.) I feel that they will get the wrong idea and/or point out things as "mistakes" which are really just things I haven't fixed yet. *sigh*

Exactly right! You have so many friends right at your fingertips. And we are homeschooled, too, so we see even more of each other than the average family :) Were you homeschooled?

Yes! Four and four! For a while it was two boys, four girls (girls ahead!), but then we had two boys in a row annnnnddd they had caught up :D. I do like big families. But it annoys me when people say to my mom "Are those aaalllllllllllll YOURS?". Or when I say I have seven siblings and people say "I had five and I thought that was rough!" as in, "poor you." Or if I say we're homeschooled and everyone goes "you must not have any friends!" So yeah. I get mad . . . Thanks again, for agreeing that big families are cool! It's nice to have an ally :)

    7. No. I never heard of this song before. Actually, I'm not really up on most of the contemporary artists, because I tend to like older styles of music better. But this song was very pretty. And it has a very good point about waiting for love until you're ready. I like that. Thanks for sharing. :)

"...or it's just something sensible people do" "or all authors are secretly doing it." Haha! Well put. I know you're just kidding, but really! What sensible person wouldn't edit as they go? (Haha! I'm just kidding, too! ;)) You're probably right about it simply being a style. In the end I guess it doesn't really matter whether you edited as you wrote, or after. Having a finished product is what counts.

"I feel that they will get the wrong idea and/or point out things as 'mistakes' which are really just things I haven't fixed yet." EXACTLY! That's just what I mean!

Oh, yes! We're a homeschooling family. And I'm so grateful for that. My mom is amazing! :)

Haha! We've gotten comments like that, too! Honestly, though, it's not the size of your family that's the problem. You can have just as a rough of a time with ONE sibling as with ten--it's simply a matter of knowing how to get along with the people you live with. :) Those kind of comments have never really bothered me too much, because I know the truth of the matter. "Poor me?" No indeed. :)

      ~Miss March

      Delete
  10. You're welcome :) It's one of my sister's favorites, so that's how I came to know about it.

Yes, the finished product is what matters . . . However, I personally think the "edit as you go" method is the best way to GET a finished product :P

Someone understands!! Oh I am so happy! It's my lucky day - thank you! :)

Homeschooling is awesome - my mom is amazing too, and so is my dad. He teaches history and physics. He actually made physics interesting to me - I'm not much of a science person :( He also helps out with math.

You are so right! Getting along with the people you live with is the key. And I personally think that homeschooling has helped us to do that :)

That's good that you don't let the comments bother you. I try not to let them bother me, but it's a sensitive point . . . There are just some things that really set me off. I guess that's one of those topics. But you're right. "Poor me?" Absolutely not. Quite the opposite, in fact :D

    1. That's so cool that your dad helps with your homeschooling. My dad doesn't do any teaching per-say, but he does a lot of reading aloud to the younger kids, which is educational and definitely helpful to my mom.

Oh, I totally understand how those comments could be annoying. There are definitely things that set me off, too! I'm glad you've had a good experience growing up in a big homeschooling family, though. Other people may never understand how good it is, but at least you know. :)

      ~Miss March

    2. Oh yes, and my dad reads aloud to the younger kids too! I know exactly what you mean! Mom loves it because it really helps the kids learn to read and the kids love it because they get to spend time with Dad :)

Yeah, that's right. At least I know :D

P.S. I wish I had time for a longer comment, but I have to get back to writing a history paper for Dad. It's supposed to be on the topic we agreed upon, of good length, and at least slightly coherent and intelligent :P Okay, I was kidding there -- but the point is I have to work on it. Or it will never happen . . . I usually have to MAKE myself write papers. Which is weird when you think about how I Really Enjoy creative writing. When you were in school did you like writing papers? You know, the research kind that are like 8-10 pages long. My sister tells me to just enjoy high school writing because when I get to college the papers will be from 10-20 pages long.
Anywho. I have to go :)

      Delete
    3. "...and at least slightly coherent and intelligent." Haha! Yes. Intelligence is a good thing to have in a school paper! ;) (No worries about writing a shorter comment. School comes first, of course!)

*Gulp* What an uncomfortable question. (Just kidding! I liked it! It made me smile.) Because the answer is, no. I did NOT like writing papers when I was in school (at least most of the time). And I totally understand how you need to MAKE yourself work on papers, or risk never getting them done. Procrastination is always very tempting when you're faced with an unpleasant task--and I know this from personal experience. Unfortunately procrastination rarely makes the task any easier. :)

It is funny how one can so enjoy creative writing and yet not enjoy writing papers for school. Grammer was always especially abhorant to me because I hated having to pick writing apart and make a formula out of it. It was just boring...and too much work. I guess I like to write what I like to write, WHEN I like to write it. A rather spoiled attitude, perhaps, but it's true. Whenever I would be given a writing assignment for a specific subject my complaint was always, "Why can't they let ME decide what I want to write about? It's too hard to write on a subject that's been forced upon me." And then when I had the opportunity to come up with my own subject my complaint was, "How do they except me to come up with a subject all on my own? They could at least give me some ideas." Ha! (Clearly I just didn't want to write...)

10-20 page papers in college! I've heard of those! That's why I'm staying as far away from college as I can! :)

(Thank you for another lovely comment, Rosie. This is turning into quite a long conversation!)

      Delete
    4. Yes, school comes first :P And I'm back to it on Monday. Oh well. It is rather interesting as a whole, you know.

Heehee, glad it made you smile. You had me worried there! (Not really :P) I do enjoy writing the more literature/art themed papers, but I don't like history. At all. My sister Jessica does though - she's a history major in college. She wants to become a professor.

Yes, that is so true! Procrastination doesn't make the work easier! I have to tell myself that a lot, as I unfortunately seem to be the kind of person who procrastinates a LOT. I need willpower, as Frog said to Toad. Did you read those stories as a kid, by the way?

      Frog: We need willpower.
      Toad: What's that?
Frog: Willpower is trying hard NOT to do something you want to do very much.
Toad: Like not eating these cookies?

Anyway. I digress. Oh, yes, I hated grammar! It always confused me so much, all the rules that seemed to contradict each other. However, I seem to have come out of it all right as I write with good grammar and vocabulary . . . So I did learn something. But looking back I'm not sure how it happened.

Yeah! I am always like that! It's either, "I don't like this subject, now if only I could pick one MYSELF" or it's "What? I have to get a subject all by my lonely self?" Haha. I really need to throw off that 'poor me' attitude.

Oh, those long college papers! I can't say I'm looking forward to that. Or to the mandatory Oral Communications class where one Gets Up and Makes Speeches in front of the Whole Class. But I am going to college (excited, too! but the cool part is I will get to stay at home and commute) when I finish high school . . . I'm a senior right now. When I get to college I want to major in graphic design -- perhaps work as an illustrator or a designer. I've also always wanted to be a wedding photographer. I love art. I'm taking a drawing class this year and I am LOVING it. The teacher is amazing and I am learning sooo much :)

Yes -- it is rather long, is it not? I hope you don't mind :) I'm having a lot of fun talking to you, personally :D

      Delete
    5. Aww. Frog and Toad! Yes, I read those stories as a kid. In fact, I remember when my mom picked a Frog and Toad book out for me at the library and I felt so grown up because I was reading a "big kids' book". :) Haha! That was a long time ago! Such good memories.

Yes. I'm sure you learn a lot more than you think you do in school. Even when it's a subject you don't particularly enjoy, I'm sure you come away with something. Also, though, you probably learn a lot of grammar and vocabulary simply from reading good books. I wouldn't say I'm really good at grammar...I don't know...but I think I have an instinctive knowledge of how to properly word things, just because I've read a lot of good authors.

Haha! Yeah. "Poor me" attitudes are very easy to succumb to. And I know that far too well!

That's so cool that you're planning on going to college. I never had a specific career in mind, or a strong interest in anything that I needed a college education for, so that's the main reason why I never went. It's not worth all the money you have to pay for it, if you don't know what you're going for. Graphic design sounds cool. I'm not really an artsy type, myself, but I can definitely appreciate that in others. I'm glad you're enjoying your drawing class. Have you always been interested in drawing or is that an interest that came later as you got older?

Oh, no! I don't mind! I love having conversations! And it's always delightful to have new comments popping up so frequently. :)

      Have a lovely day, Rosie!

Oh that's right! Reading helps so much. I read voraciously, but my mom and sister are always making sure what I read is "good" as in, good content and well written. For instance, I've read Chesterton, Dickens, Wodehouse (I say, three cheers!), Austen, Cather (we skipped parts - and there are some of her books I haven't read), and many more. You're right, I think the reading helps me to instinctively have a wide vocabulary and use 'good' grammar :D

Sheesh, they are. I'm feeling great right now however because I got some work done on my fairy story over the weekend. SO MUCH FUN :)

I totally agree -- college is not just something you do "because everyone else is doing it; it's what's done." Nonono. There is absolutely no point in pouring money into something that you're not going to get a lot out of. If you don't have a specific career that it would help with, what's the point?

Yes, I have always wanted to be an artist of some type ever since I was a wee thing drawing, painting, and creating 3D art with paper, tape, and glue. It gave me so much satisfaction to hear my mom showing my dad something I had made "Look, she's such a great artist." I have always been interested in drawing. I love it a lot, although I am very critical and perfectionist about what I draw. I don't think I draw very well at all, but all my family and friends go "Wow! You draw so well!" But although I think I have a LOT still to learn, drawing gives me a lot of pleasure. And my drawing teacher is SUCH a lot of help. He is so experienced, he can always tell me what's wrong with my drawing, or give me direction on where to go next with the drawing. And he is so positive! He always starts off with, "I like what you did here . . ." and then suggests what I could do to make a certain area better. He's not the type to go "Okay, this is a horrible start but with my advice you may be able to make something of it." No no no. Definitlely not. He is a wonderful teacher :)
I kind of went on and on there but I had to tell someone how awesome he is because half the class don't like him because "he so serious about it, man!" or "I hate drawing, this isn't my major, and he's expecting me to actually do the work." Argh, it makes me so mad :(

Thanks, I will! And you have a good day too :D

    7. I've never read Chesterton or Cather. What kinds of books did they write?

Good for you! I'm sure it feels wonderful to be making progress on it. Keep it up! :)

Exactly. I've heard of so many people who come out of college with tons of debt and they STILL don't know what they want to do. It's just not worth it.

That sounds like me and my writing. I'm a total perfectionist! Sooo picky! I'm glad you have an drawing teacher who's encouraging! That makes learning so much more fun!

    8. Chesterton wrote essays and other such whimsical things - he also wrote allegorical things such as the Ball and the Cross, and then fiction: The Man Who Knew Too Much, The Man Who Was Thursday, The Club of Queer Trades, and last but definitely not least as this is probably the thing he's most famous for - Father Brown. I love those stories!
Willa Cather wrote novels, mainly historically based. Some are good, others not so great . . . she can get kind of gritty. But her descriptions of nature etc. are perfection! Just so much beauty, she really sucks you into the world she's writing about.

      Yes, thanks :)

No it's not! College debt really slows you down and if you've nothing to show for it, what's the point? However, don't get alarmed - I plan to go through college without debt. Scholarships and so on - a job if necessary :) Besides, state schools are less expensive to start with.

I know exactly what you mean! It really can slow us down . . .

YES. I love when I have a good teacher, it makes learning so much fun and so satisfying :D

    9. That's why Chesterton sounded familiar! The Father Brown books. I've never read them myself, but some of my brothers have! :)

That's so cool that you're planning on making it through college without debt. That's a very smart way to go about, I think. And yes, I've heard that state schools are less expensive. A couple of my cousins were able to go to college for just about nothing since they lived in the same state as the school, and probably had a lot of scholarships as well.

    10. Yes, they're amazing :)

I think so too! I mean to say, I really cannot understand people who get themselves into a lot of debt and sometimes don't even graduate! Just baffling . . . Oh, and yes, the scholarships do help a LOT. There are several scholarships that cover almost all the cost of the state colleges if you just have good SAT/ACT test scores and a good GPA :)

    11. That's awesome! I guess a state college is a good way to go then. :)

  11. Enjoyed your post, Miss March! I love your sense of humor. :) I can totally identify with #1 - I do that too. The only way I can defeat my cravings for chocolate is to banish it from the house completely - which resolution the hubby & son do not generally support, and I'm usually happy to let them have their way... ;)

    1. Thank you so much, Crista! Your approval means a lot to me! :) I'm so glad to have you reading my posts and enjoying them! Makes me happy, happy!!!

Haha! Sorry. I just had to laugh at the thought of you banishing chocolate from the house! No chocolate? At YOUR house? Unthinkable! :D

Hee hee. So true! Hubby and son must have their sugar! I actually hope I marry a man with a sweet tooth because then I can feel good about serving dessert (and eating it, too, of course) since I'll be "doing it for my man." *wink*

  12. Aw, thank you, Miss March! :) :)

I know...chocolate is truly a force to be reckoned with over here. But seriously, when you can get 3 bars for $1, it's kind of hard not to stock up on them!!!

D is turning into a little cookie monster, btw. I used to be able to grab a little bit of chocolate or a little bit of cookie here and there without him noticing, but now he's a cookie policeman...if someone else is having something sweet, HE WANTS IT TOO. These days, you've got to be super sly around that little stinkpot. :)

I have a theory, though - if you want to cut down on sweets, it's better to bake your desserts from scratch than to buy them pre-packaged. Making them is more time and work, and once you've had your fill, it's gone. If you stock up on chocolate bars like we do then the chocolate is always there...waiting...waiting to be eaten...begging to be eaten, even...lol.

Anyway. I think I'm getting off topic! ;)

    1. Haha! I love those descriptions of D. "Cookie monster" and "cookie policeman." They fit him extremely well, I think. That boy! He just won't be left out of the fun, will he?

Your theory is a good one, Crista. And I think it would work well...if only those choclate bars were not so awfully cheap!! ;)
