Just a Short Post to Say...

I'm back! 

Okay, so you probably didn't even notice I was gone.  But, hey!  I'm back anyway!  :)

The past two weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind; and when one is stuck in a whirlwind it's awful hard to write anything...let alone anything intelligible. 

To begin with, my brother and sister, who have been attending school in a foreign country for the past six months, finally arrived home on the 29th of June!  (I am so happy to have them back!)  My brother is going to be staying home, but unfortunately my sister is returning to school in just two weeks--so it's a short visit and I need to make the most of it.

Secondly we just got back from a week long visit to my grandparents who live about twelve hours drive from our home.   We had a big family reunion with all our aunts, uncles, and cousins, because it had been four years since we had seen most of them.  We had a jolly good time, but like all vacations we were quite worn out by the time we got home.  (I'm still suffering from sleep deprivation.  That's why I'm down here writing a blog post at 11:06 p.m. Okay, so that doesn't make a whole lot of sense...)

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say "hello."  

Oh!  And by the way, I watched Cinderella on the 30th of June.  

I'd been wanting to watch it and now I feel quite grown up and sophisticated because I saw a movie in the theater (first time for that!), and before it was five years old!  (I'm usually always behind the times.  For instance, I just watched Miss Potter the other month and realized, "Wow!  This is not a new movie anymore!"  Hee hee!)

I'm hoping to do a review on Cinderella before too long, but I won't make any promises because I've never written a movie review before and I'm not overly confident that I shall succeed at it.  We shall see.
